GOD KNEW YOU BEFORE YOU WERE
 
            Why is human life so different from all other life?  It is because we are created in the image of our creator, God.  “So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them” (Genesis 1:27 KJV).  This is no imaginary thing here, but a living God.  We have a connection to Him that no other creature has.  It’s hard for me to fathom someone taking the life of a little unborn baby.  It is boggling to the mind.  
              Not only did God create you and me in the womb, but He knew us before He placed us in the womb.  “Then the word of the Lord came unto me saying, Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee; and before thou camest forth out of the womb I sanctified thee, and I ordained thee a prophet unto the nations” (Jeremiah 1:4-5 KJV).  One might say, “How can that be”?  Surely God does not have that knowledge.  God is all-knowing, omniscient.  His knowledge is unlimited.  Consider the following verses:

“For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, As the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts” (Isaiah 55:8-9 NIV).

 “His wisdom is profound, his power is vast.  Who has resisted him and come out unscathed?  He moves mountains without their knowing it and overturns them in his anger.  He shakes the earth from its place and makes its pillars tremble.  He speaks to the sun and it does not shine; he seals off the light of the stars.  He alone stretches out the heavens and treads on the waves of the sea.  He is the Maker of the Bear and Orion, the Pleiades and the constellations of the south.  He performs wonders that cannot be fathomed, miracles that cannot be numbered” (Job 4-10 NIV).

“For he chose us in him before the creation of the world to be holy and blameless in his sight.  In love he predestined us to be adopted as his sons through Jesus Christ, in accordance with his pleasure and will” (Ephesians 1:4-5 NIV).

            Yes, God knew even you and me before we were.  Please also know that if God had a plan for Jeremiah’s life, he had a plan for all the little babies whose lives were snuffed out by abortion.  Someone is playing God with these little babies.  Let me just say, I would hate to be walking in their shoes because when the Lord returns to this earth, many are going to pay for what they have done.  It’s not just the moms and the doctors either, it’s the ones who are allowing it to happen who have the authority to stop it.
              The Bible always refers to the “unborn” as babes and children.  They are never called less than what they are, babies.  From the moment of conception, they are little babies, maybe not fully developed but babies nonetheless.  Their genetic makeup is complete, including the sex of the child at conception.  A baby’s God given rights start at that moment. 
            Our Bill of Rights states in part “We hold these truths to be self evident that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their creator with certain inalienable rights, that among these are life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness.”  Our fore-fathers got it right.  They understood what life really is.
              Unfortunately the little babies who are now dead because of abortion will never have life, liberty nor the pursuit of happiness, at least not here on this earth.  How sad do you think God is when he sees doctors and others with instruments suck out a baby from its mother’s womb and discarded like trash?  It’s horrifying just to think about it.  The Bible says “It is a dreadful thing to fall into the hands of an angry God” (Hebrews 10:31 NIV).  The judgments of God will come in due time.
              Will God forgive someone who has had an abortion or someone who has helped to perform abortions?  The answer is yes.  If you know someone who has had an abortion and is struggling, be there for them.  Lead them to the Lord.  Let them know that God loves them and will forgive their sin.
              Dear Readers, I believe the end is near.  How much longer is God going to allow such things as abortion.  There are more atrocities taking place in America as never before.  America has been killing her babies for about 40 years now, and actually centuries before that.  We need to fight for truth if we are going to make it to heaven.  Thomas Jefferson, the primary author of the Declaration of Independence, and our third president said these words: “I tremble for my country when I reflect that God is just; that his justice cannot sleep forever.”  I can assure you according to the Word of God that His judgments will come upon this earth in due time, and I believe that time is short.  Let’s be ready through Christ for that great appearing.
