WHAT IS TRUTH? article 6 - April, 2013
“Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth” (John 17:17)
The truth is very important to me. I can only live by God's truth, not man's truth, for Jesus, Himself, is truth. Since Bible Truth is predicated upon Bible Truth, I thought it would be appropriate to view a few scriptures on "Truth".
Also, I would like to remind everyone of the following scripture:: Matthew 4:4 “…It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God.” Please note, this scripture does not say to live by some of God’s words, but by all of His words.This is a very profound scripture and one we should all think on and live by daily.

Matt.14:33: Then they that were in the ship came and worshipped him, saying, Of a truth thou art the Son of God.
Mark.12:32: And the scribe said unto him, Well, Master, thou hast said the truth: for there is one God; and there is none other but he:
John.1:14: And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.
John 1:17: For the law was given by Moses, but grace and truth came by Jesus Christ.
John.3:21: But he that doeth truth cometh to the light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in God.
John.4:23: But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship him.

Rom.1:18,25: For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold the truth in unrighteousness; Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed for ever. Amen.
1Cor.13:6: Rejoiceth not in iniquity, but rejoiceth in the truth;
2 Cor.6:7: By the word of truth, by the power of God, by the armour of righteousness on the right hand and on the left,

Gal.3:1: O foolish Galatians, who hath bewitched you, that ye should not obey the truth, before whose eyes Jesus Christ hath been evidently set forth, crucified among you?

2 Tim.2:15: Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.
2 Tim.3:7: Ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth.

Tit.1:1,14: Paul, a servant of God, and an apostle of Jesus Christ, according to the faith of God's elect, and the acknowledging of the truth which is after godliness; Not giving heed to Jewish fables, and commandments of men, that turn from the truth.
Heb.10:26: For if we sin wilfully after that we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remaineth no more sacrifice for sins,
1 John.1:6,8: If we say that we have fellowship with him, and walk in darkness, we lie, and do not the truth: If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.
1 John.2:4,27: He that saith, I know him, and keepeth not his commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him. But the anointing which ye have received of him abideth in you, and ye need not that any man teach you: but as the same anointing teacheth you of all things, and is truth, and is no lie, and even as it hath taught you, ye shall abide in him.
1 John.3:18-19: My little children, let us not love in word, neither in tongue; but in deed and in truth. And hereby we know that we are of the truth, and shall assure our hearts before him.
1 John.4:16: We are of God: he that knoweth God heareth us; he that is not of God heareth not us. Hereby know we the spirit of truth, and the spirit of error.
1 John.5:6: This is he that came by water and blood, even Jesus Christ; not by water only, but by water and blood. And it is the Spirit that beareth witness, because the Spirit is truth.
